Mindfulness is all over the place in modern society because science has proved the magical benefits in it on many occasions.
Infertility is one of the major topics that we hear and there are many people who suffer from infertility. Though there are several treatments in western and eastern medicine to increase fertility, the success rates are surprisingly low most of the time.
However, science has proved meditation, mindfulness and yoga can increase fertility in many studies.
How Mindfulness Works On Fertility

The study conducted in 2016 reports on the development of a Partnership and Coping Enhancement Programme (PCEP) on couples suffering from infertility. This study was couple-based, consisting of experience sharing, psychoeducation, meditation exercise, skill practice and supplemental written materials.
In 2017, a study has shown, yoga can help couples overcome infertility and increase the Assisted Reproductive Transfer success rate by improving the physiological and psychological states of both men and women. The reviewed studies showed that yoga can provide stress management for patients with infertility, with beneficial effects on fertility, helping couples give birth. They found that yoga also could reduce pain; decrease depression, anxiety, and stress; reduce the rate of assisted vaginal delivery; and improve fetal outcomes. According to their conclusion, Yoga can help couples overcome infertility and increase the ART success rate by improving the physiological and psychological states of both men and women.
All these researches proved the benefit of mindfulness practice and how they help to increase fertility. There are multiple free mindfulness meditation programs that specialise for increase fertility out there. Adding these mindfulness practices to your lifestyle will not cost you anything except it will enhance your wellbeing in every aspect of your life.
