Before we jump into the topic, it is vital to have an understanding of what the subconscious mind is and how it works.
There are two types of minds which are conscious mind and subconscious mind. You make thoughts from your conscious mind and your subconscious mind reacts based on your thoughts. As per the book “The power of your subconscious mind by Joseph Murphy” – “You think with your conscious mind, and whatever you habitually think sinks down into your subconscious mind, which creates according to the nature of your thoughts. If you think good, good will follow; if you think evil, evil will follow. This is the way your mind works.”
As you already know our subconscious mind reacts to the thoughts that we think from our conscious mind. The key to activate this magic is changing our conscious mind or in simple words, changing our thinking pattern.
According to Dr Joe Dispenza, when we wake up in the morning, our brain waves go from a very slow delta to theta to alpha (slide up the scale). When we go to sleep, those brain waves go from beta to alpha to theta to delta (slide down the scale).
When we wake up in the morning, if we start to think about our problems or start to recall bad memories, we start to feel the unpleasant emotions that collaborated with those problems or memories. The worst part of this process is, those emotions start to influence our thoughts which means we automatically start to feel according to those obnoxious thoughts (e.g.: feel like a loser, failure).
If this is repeating every day (maybe as a habit) our subconscious mind starts to act according to the way, we think. It doesn’t know how to categorise our emotions. The only thing our subconscious mind does is act according to our thoughts. If we start every day with bad feelings and bad emotions based on our memories or our problems, we don’t seem to have a chance to get rid of this loop, which means, eventually we create our future obvious and it’s no different from our unpleasant past. Therefore, we miss the chance to create our bright future with all the good things and happiness. We miss our dreams to become rich, become successful.
Now you can see that all those bad things were started to happen from our thoughts and the only way to change it is by changing our thinking pattern. The mechanism is simple. After wake up in the morning, sit up and close your eyes and ask yourself this question. “who do I want to be today?”. I’m sure the answer would be “I want to be a happy and successful person”. That’s the dream.
However, if we constantly have negative thoughts such as, I’m not talented, I’m not worthy, it’s too hard, or I can’t do this or if we easily tend to judge people it would be very hard to do accomplish the answer for the above question. We can overcome that too and the only thing we have to do is be more conscious about our thoughts and feelings. You can list down all those bad thoughts you have and review them. Then only you can be aware of how you think. When you are aware of your feelings, you can control them. That means once you start to think negatively or start to judge someone you can stop it because you are so aware of your thoughts. This is the beginning of subconscious mind remapping. When you are aware of your thoughts you can control them and make them positive. If you do this continuously, your subconscious mind starts to work accordingly. That impacts to your every action which you take throughout your whole journey to make a wonderful future.
You can boost this process with positive affirmations and gratitude. Visualization is the key ingredient of it.
